As to workday tomorrow, it will be quite damp even if we don't get additional rain before morning. For those who want to work on the envasive vines and nut grass, there is an advantage to get the deep roots out while the dirt is soft. Storm debris to remove also. No pressure either way in this weather.
The plants are apparently enjoying the rain. They are healthy with many in bloom. Our buddleias are doing well, rain lilies are sprouting and vitex are now lively. Still watching for the return of the blue porterweed...Has anyone seen sprouts?
County matters - A spray head in the Murphy Bed is bent but not yet broken off.
- A good quality mulch needs to be requested.
- The yellow hose put on the south faucet from the shed a few days ago to replace the one that disappeared about the time the new faucet was installed was gone today.
Sunnier days are coming but for now our Childrens Programs and Workday are tamped down by the rain.
